Relevant Background

Baton Rouge Drones was founded by Joe Furr, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Louisiana State University. Before starting the company, Joe worked in forensic engineering, where he investigated and documented accident scenes, analyzed physical evidence, and supported attorneys and insurance professionals with technical findings and courtroom-ready documentation.

This experience shaped how we approach our work today — with attention to detail, clear documentation standards, and an understanding of what serious clients actually need. We bring that same mindset to industrial inspections, pipeline support, construction monitoring, and land management projects.

Baton Rouge Drones is a family-operated company. Family members contribute in various ways as the business grows, and we maintain a small, selective network of trusted professionals that we regularly partner with.
